Charlie making more videos this week makes me realise how much I like him. He really is an awesome person. I really like how my YouTube experience currently is, but this week also made me nostalgic for ‘the old days’ as they say.

Okay so this feels so wrong talking about YouTubers and getting all up in their private shit*, but I really don’t get why people think Charlie is leaving YouTube now? Or that he’s thinking about it? (re: Time to Reply comments btw)

What I get from the song:

Charlie has subscribers that like his videos and so they watch them all and then they want more videos and they ask for them and they send Charlie messages, and they want to be friends with him etc. Only Charlie can’t respond to all these messages so the subscriber gets sad and angry and stuff. Also, Charlie is human so he isn’t the same person he was a couple of years ago so his videos have evolved. And now we wonder if he still likes what he does etc.

Personally I’ve always liked Charlie’s videos and still do. Yes, I prefer some videos over others (which is totally natural I think for anyone). I think he’s a cool guy. Don’t know if I’d want to be friends with him cause I don’t know him.

*) Wait, what? Yeah I do post about YT related things a lot, but those things are gatherings I’m organising, gatherings I’ve been to/organised, Dutch/Belgian NF newsletters etc. I just don’t really post about specific videos/vloggers a lot (and if I do I probably know them).
